NodeBots Day London

On July 27th, 2013, we'll meet up in London and hack on Arduinos, Rasberry Pis, NodeCopters, robots, and any other gizmos that need more input, as part of the international NodeBots Day event

This is not a hackathon, there will be no prizes. It's about spending a day in an amazing workshop with good people and tinkering, hacking and generally putting tools where hardware would rather you didn't. Please remember to bring your laptop, Arduino, a grab bag of components and ideas. Broken toys, Raspberry Pis, and circuit bent synths also encouraged.

Also, it's a community event, not for profit. The ticket fee goes to keeping the workshop space open and keeping us safe from cutting off limbs on the many sharp things. If you genuinely can't afford it, but really want to hack and learn, then contact me directly.

Rough Schedule

• 10:15am - A quick introduction to the JAILmake and NodeBots day.
• 10:30am - Workshop: Need moar input: Bringing Arduino to life with JavaScript & johnny-five. No prior knowledge required, just bring enthusiasm, a laptop, an Arduino, and and some LEDs and any other components you can lay your hands on. If you're an expert, you can skip ahead to...
• 11:30am - Hacking together on ideas and things. Other workshops TBC.
• 4pm - Show & Tell, share what you've built and then we hand-over to the US events to see what they come up with...
• 5pm - Enjoy a well earned beverage.

We're still working on a couple of other workshops. If you have a project you'd like to talk about, then let us know and we'll add you in.
